Our Policies for ALL Dogs to Board:
All dogs are required to be up-to-date on Vaccines: Written Proof Must be Given prior to stay.
Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella.
(Records can be Emailed or Screenshot. We will need updated records each time vaccine(s) are updated.)
avalenzuela7@att.net
All dogs over 1 year old must be Spayed/Neutered.
Dogs over 10 years old are done on a case by case basis.
If your dog is older and has never boarded before, we may not be the best choice. Older dogs sometimes stress so much in a new environment that they will make themselves sick and need medical attention. We don't want that to happen for your dog.
(If you plan to not Spay/Neuter after 1 year old, we will no longer be able to board your dog.)
If your Female Dog goes into Heat during a stay, she may not be able to play in certain groups. (For her safety/peace of mind)
We do require ALL dogs are OK with crates/kennels.
(We use them for feeding and sleeping, so that each dog has their own space. Years of Experience has taught us that not all dogs get along and every dog wants some quiet time to themselves.)
ALL PHOTOS/VIDEOS ARE SENT TO YOU VIA CELL/EMAIL/ROVER/FACEBOOK PAGE.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Will my dog like the environment?
The first time a dog comes to a new environment, it can be overwhelming! We understand that, and let each dog dictate how soon they go in a play group. Each dog is different, so we pay attention to their body language. They can have more one on one time, or be completely crazy to get into a group and play. Some dogs will act differently here than with you at home. We will give you updates, but always understand that most dogs will enjoy coming and get excited the more and more they come. The first time you drop off, whinnying and wanting to come back to you is completely normal.
How are play groups determined?
I, the owner, determine all play group combinations. Play groups are determined more by energy level and temperament, than size and age. I do usually put senior dogs together, since they seem to be more comfortable just walking around with each other than playing!! When you get your pictures of your dog playing, there could be large and small dogs together. If they want to have a good game of chase or play a little harder, that's ok. We do monitor all play and will always stop rough play if it looks to be more than just play. Sometimes play groups will be different sizes depending on how many dogs we have boarding. Sometimes siblings will be split into different play groups if we think each will do better with dogs more suitable to their temperaments.
How long are dogs in their crates or let out to potty/play?
All dogs, even our own are always crated at night and during meals. Crates are used for safety. It gives each dog their own space to rest and eat in peace. Dogs can over simulated from playing and running, so each group will come in to rest throughout the day while another group has their turn to play. We are a house-based boarding facility, so all dogs are in their crates if we have to run an errand, possibly go out to eat, or have an appointment for our children. Please understand that we are a family too, and don't have a huge staff. Day-breaks/naps are never more than 3-4 hours, but those are scheduled with long play-times so that the dogs will enjoy the nap.
Can my dog get hurt?
It is always possible for a dog to get hurt. Sometimes that is out of our control. Even our own dogs have gotten hurt with just a normal game of fetch. Yes, we always try to make sure no dog is hurt, from play, stress, anxiety, or aggression. We want your dog to enjoy their time with us and understand that your dog can have separation anxiety. If your dog seems to be hurting themselves from stress/anxiety, we contact you to see if there is something we can do to help. If you dog gets a minor scratch, cut, or boo-boo, we let you know when you pick up and if there is any after care you need to do. If you're dog needs any version of medical attention or we have concerns about their health, you are contacted to determine the best the best course of medical attention.
What happens if my dog gets ill/injured?
Stress illness can be normal at first. We pay attention to that, but if it doesn't go away, you are contacted to see if it may be more and to see the vet. If your dog becomes minorly ill or injury, you are contacted to determine to the best course of action. If your dog becomes majorly ill or injured, you will be contacted that we are already headed to the vet. I, the owner, can explain this in more detail, but no dog will suffer during a possible major illness or injury due to being unable to get ahold of owner. (Your intake form is used as a medical proxy if you're unable to be reached in an emergency.)
What if my dog has special needs?
If your dog has special food needs or medical needs, that be accommodated. We do not supply HOUSE food. We require that all owners supply your dog's normal food. This will limit their upset stomach, due to new food. If your dog needs a slower feeder, you are required to bring that as well. We supply all other bowls and treats for dogs to enjoy. There is no additional cost for treats. If your dog needs medications, you are required to bring them in their original bottle from the vet or pharmacy. Supplements can also be given, but also must come in original packaging. We are required by the state to keep detailed records of your dog's medications, and we can not do that if they just come in a baggie. We want to make sure we are giving your dog the right medication at the correct time, frequency, and dosage. (We are NOT Allowed to do injectable medications)
Should I bring anything for my dog?
If your dog is boarding for the first time, we need a copy of their current vaccinations prior to boarding. We provide everything that your dog should need during their stay. We provide the crates (all sizes, wire and hard-plastic), bedding, towels, bowls (all sizes), treats, food containers (if needed), toys, etc. We ask that you try to not bring your whole house when you drop them off!!! Less extras from home, can usually let them settle in and enjoy the new environment while here. We require that you bring your dog's food each time they come, even if it's for daycare. If they are still here for dinner, they will want to eat just like all their friends that are boarding. You can bring your dog's food in a new bag, open bag, food container, or individually bagged. It is completely up to you. However, we do ALWAYS ask that you bring us more than they may need for their stay. You can get delayed in your travel and your dog may need to stay an extra night. We don't want them to run out of food. We will always give you back any food they don't eat while with us. Dry and wet food is always allowed. Bones, raw hides, ears, etc are not allowed, while boarding. If you send them, they will be in the bag when you pick up.
Why does my dog so Thirsty when they come home?
We provide water in both play area for each group, each time they play. We also provide 24 hour access to water in their crates, both with bowls of water and water bottles attached to the crates. We do always explain sometimes that when you pick up, your dog may go home more thirsty than normal. This is completely normal and very common during spring and summer months. Some dogs play really hard, even though they have access to water, don't always drink enough until they are home in their normal environment. If we see that your dog isn't drinking what we think is enough, we will sometimes add it to their meal, so they get a little extra.
